Wyoming isn’t just Yellowstone and the Tetons. There are several mountain ranges and the landscape is quite diverse. You just never know what might capture your attention around the next bend.
On the road between Meeteetse and Thermopolis with my art peeps Georgia, Dave and Mitch, we rounded a bend and in unison exclaimed “whoa!” There was this area of fascinating rock formations that we all saw at the same time. Dave quickly slowed down, flipped a u-turn, stopped and we all piled out of the car to climb and explore.
It’s quite easy to let your imagination go back in time when climbing around on geologic wonders such as this. What stories do they hold?
